Magic: The Gathering – Chandra #1 will hit shelves this month, and Wizards of the Coast have given us a look at the upcoming comic book written by Vita Ayala with interior art by Harvey Tolibao and cover art by Ken Lashley. The comic features Magic's pyromancer Planeswalker Chandra Nalaar in her mission to protect the Multiverse and save those who cannot help themselves. The preview offers a look at Chandra's heroic quest to save a little girl from the vicious thallids.

It looks like Planeswalkers are seen as the superheroes of the Multiverse, and I hope we'll see the other Planeswalkers in this series.
