Magic: The Gathering Artist Magali Villeneuve Reveals Cool Detail in Klothys Art

Magic: The Gathering artist Magali Villeneuve recently revealed an interesting detail from her "Klothys, God of Destiny" art that connects to her other Theros Beyond DeathMTG artwork, her illustration of "Calix, Destiny's Hand".

Over on her Instagram account, the fantasy French illustrator shared an image pointing at the Greek-inspired architecture in the Klothys art that links to her Calix art. As you can see below, the architecture seen in the background of Klothys is the same architecture where Calix is, and this makes sense since in the lore of the recent Magic set, Klothys created Calix in order to reweave Elspeth Tirel into the pattern of Fate.

Although they look like generic pieces of Greek architecture, the red drape found in both art is an intentional detail that links both illustrations.
