Magic: The Gathering and Dungeons & Dragons Are Back For The 7th Extra Life

Wizards of the Coast

Today, Wizards of the Coast has announced the seventh year of Extra Life.

The Extra Life organization is focused on bringing gamers around the world together for a positive cause: to help raise money to heal kids in need. This year, they have an ambitious goal of bringing in $200,000 for Children's Miracle Network Hospitals.

Wizards of the Coast's fantasy franchises Magic: The Gathering and Dungeons & Dragons will have their own teams to help reach that goal.

The Magic team will start streaming from Friday, October 19 at 8 a.m. PT until 11:59 p.m. PT on Saturday, October 20. Check out twitch.tv/magic to watch some Magic Arena battles, as well as Brawl, Ravnica D&D, Unstable, and Commander. They will also be having hourly auctions for sweet items like foil uncut sheets.

The Dungeons & Dragons team will be streaming on the Extra Life Game Day, Saturday, November 3, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Wizards of the Coast also teamed up with MTG Pro Shop to sell shirts, playmats, pins, and stickers with a cute Niv-Mizzet mascot design, and all proceeds will go to Extra Life. Check out these fantastic items:
