Yuuhi is determined to increase his stamina now that he is officially Samidare's knight. He decided to go jogging with Samidare to build his strength.
While Yuuhi struggles to do more than ten push-ups, Samidare does them easily, even with Yuuhi on her back.
Samidare invited Yuuhi to come over and eat breakfast after their workout. Unfortunately, Yuuhi was hit in the face by Asame after opening the wrong bathroom door.
Nonetheless, Yuuhi relished the pleasure of socializing with someone. However, he keeps recalling his grandfather's words, which prevents him from fully appreciating the moment.
When night fell, Samidare reached out to Yuuhi in his room. He used this opportunity to inquire about Samidare's motivations for saving the world. Samidare responded that she enjoys her surroundings.
In that regard, she selfishly desires that the world be hers until her death. She intends to destroy the world before she dies in order to save it from others.
Yuuhi went jogging the next day, but not before a golem appeared. He was about to jump into the river to escape the golem when Samidare appeared and saved him.
Despite his survival, Yuuhi is concerned about Samidare's power. He believes he should have been the one to save Samidare rather than the other way around. He is, after all, Samidare's personal knight.
The following day, Yuuhi got his head back in the game and decided to try out his holding field. To cross the river, he must maintain perfect control of his holding field. Despite his efforts, he fell into the river.
As a result, Yuuhi developed a fever. Because the lizard knight is linked to Yuuhi, he contracts the same illness. Samidare's warm hands woke Yuuhi up in the morning.
She informs Yuuhi that she was aware of how exhausted her knight was. In response, Yuuhi requested that Samidare not abandon him because of his foolish actions. In a short period of time, Yuuhi grew close to Samidare.
He also told Samidare about his trauma. His grandfather apparently did not approve of him having friends when he was a child. As a result, Yuuhi was locked up for three days and three nights. Yuuhi eventually caught a cold during that time.
Before the episode ends, Samidare encourages Yuuhi to visit his grandfather. She overheard Yuuhi's phone conversation with his aunt while they were having breakfast together.
Despite his reservations, Yuuhi eventually agrees to Samidare's request. In return, Samidare promised Yuuhi that she would not leave him. She also boldly stated that she would destroy anyone or anything that would cause Yuuhi harm.
