Among the romance anime of the Spring 23 season, Loving Yamada was a standout for its cute main couple. Now, anime fans who missed it have no reason to keep it sitting on their watch list as the English dub of Loving Yamada at Lv999 finally releases on Crunchyroll.
Recently, Aniplex of America confirmed the show’s English dub cast and release date, which is great news for romance anime fans who prefer watching shows with an English dub.
Aniplex and Crunchyroll Reveal Loving Yamada at Lv999 English Dub Cast
Loving Yamada at Lv999 aired last season, and it got a lot of praise from romance anime lovers for how well it adapted the manga source material.
Praise was also given to the impressive voice actors which included popular seiyuu like Inori Minase (Rem in Re:Zero), Koki Uchiyama (Shigaraki in My Hero Academia), and Natsuki Hanae (Tanjiro Kamado in Demon Slayer).
Not to be outdone, Aniplex of America revealed the English dub voice cast members which also consist of well-known VAs.
The four main cast members in the anime include:
- Abby Trott (Nezuko Kamado in Demon Slayer) as Akane Kinoshita
- Stephen Fu (Henry Legolant in Black Clover) as Akito Yamada
- Landon McDonald (Rohan Kishibe in Thus Spoke Rohan Kishibe) as Eita Sasaki
- Michelle Marie (Fizel in Sword Art Online: Alicization) as Runa Sasaki
Currently, only four VAs are confirmed, though this makes sense given that only a few characters are introduced in the first episode.
The rest of the cast will be revealed as more episodes are streamed.

Loving Yamada at Lv999 English Dub Finally Releases on Crunchyroll
Even before the anime’s release, Loving Yamada at Lv999 already had a large fanbase, especially in Japan, given how popular the manga is.
In fact, the show was among the most anticipated anime among girls ahead of the Spring 2023 season, according to a Japanese poll.
While its fanbase wasn’t as big outside Japan, it quickly grew as the anime adaptation aired, with many loving the dynamic between the colorful Akane and the reserved Yamada.
The Loving Yamada at Lv999 English dub will be released today on Crunchyroll, with new episodes to be released every week.
This English dub release date is quite later than expected, especially considering that Crunchyroll has several anime English dub releases this season which are only delayed by two weeks or so.
While an English dub is finally streaming, there’s currently no word yet on a second season for the series.
