Love of Kill Episode 6 might be Chateau and Ryang-ha's biggest challenge yet. The josei anime, also known as Koroshi Ai, started with a mediocre couple of episodes, but it is consistently improving following the shocking realization about Chateau's past. Love of Kill Episode 5 Recap
Love of Kill or Koroshi Ai, as is the show's original Japanese title, is based on a manga of the same name, written and illustrated by Fe. The story follows Chateau Dankworth, a quiet, stoic assassin, tasked with killing Son Ryang-ha - also a notorious killer, legendary for having killed 18 officials in one night. Their first encounter reveals that Song is also after Chateau.
As it turns out, though, he doesn't plan on persecuting her in the way you would expect. Song offers her gifts in the form of targets, and endeavors to get to know her better. In time, the two end up working together - but don't worry, the story is still more about action and mystery, rather than romance as such.
In episode 5, Ryang-ha finally defeats Hou in an impressive fighting sequence. An injured Chateau escapes from Hou's car just as he sets it on fire. Ryang-ha helps her out only to collapse from his own wounds. Chateau gets her colleague, Jim, to help her get Ryang-ha treated and gets suspended for another three weeks as a result of her collaboration with him.
While the romantic aspect of the anime still leaves a few things to be desired, Chateau was quite cute in this one and she has apparently grown fond of Ryang-ha, making their banter fun to watch.
After Chateau goes back to work, her boss has a new assignment for her. She's to accompany him on a cruise ship to protect an important person. Ryang-ha is on the ship as well; so is the contract killer who plans to get rid of both Ryang-ha and Chateau. Episode 6 is looking promising and very, very tense!

Love of Kill Episode 6 is going to air on Thursday, the 17th of February 2022, in Japan. Those in Europe, Canada, and the US will be able to watch it from Wednesday, February 16. Non-subscribed Crunchyroll users will have to wait an extra week, until February 24, and there will be ads.
