The entire world of social media was rocked yesterday when platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp stopped working all of a sudden, affecting virtually every user worldwide. Of course, the said services are no stranger to experiencing technical issues but yesterday's outage was something so unprecedented and it lasted for nearly six hours. The outage even raised concern online when several tweets surface claiming that Facebook's domain has actually been deleted.
Naturally, it caused quite the panic among social media users with a lot of them taking to Twitter, the only working social media platform to seek temporary refuge. That includes iconic cartoon voice actress Tara Strong who shared her hilarious reaction on her official page hours after the outage began taking full effect. In a tweet, the Miss Minutes actress poked fun at the situation and expressed her major concern — not being able to remember her best friend's birthday. A common running gag between Facebook users. Facebook co-founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg addressed the matter after Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp's servers were restored last night. According to him, the 6-hour outage, the longest in the platform's history was caused by a "faulty configuration change".
Meanwhile, Tara Strong is expected to make her MCU return in Loki Season 2 which is currently in development. Seeing as she "exposed" her true colors in the finale, being one of Kang and Ravonna's allies, it would be safe to assume that Miss Minutes will play a more significant role in the second season. Now, while I totally dig her cartoon-ish appearance, would it be too much to ask to see her in live-action form? That would be interesting.
