The finale is about to arrive and if what happened in the whole season so far doesn't excite you yet with all the revelations and surprises, you surely have a lot of questions that need answers.

What happened in Loki Episode 5?
Loki Episode 5, Journey Into Mystery, picks up where the previous episode ended. Sylvie is in the TVA grilling Ravonna Renslayer for answers to her questions and while she has been hostile in treating Renslayer, she is still as feisty as ever. Renslayer opened the possibility of Loki still being alive as she explains that there is no resetting of all the matter in a branched reality, only a transfer to somewhere at the end of time.
They seek the aid of Miss Minutes in looking for answers as to the creation of the Time Variance Authority in hopes of finding who created the fake Time-Keepers and why they did that. They also discussed what happens and where those who get pruned are transported. With the end of time supposedly still being written, it wouldn't create a branched reality. However, Renslayer called TVA Agents, and to escape, Sylvie pruned herself.
As for Loki, he is in a place called The Void and he questions the other four variants that he met in the post-credits scene of Episode 4. They explain that Lokis survive and thrive and on their way to their hideout, we find out that Kid Loki has killed Thor and that his majesty deserves the respect that is given to him by the others.
In the hideout, they tell Loki that there is no one to ever escape the Void and that Lokis have been surviving under the said conditions ever since they were transported in the said place. Loki plans to get behind the creature that devours all the living things in the place, Alioth and when Loki was about to get out, he encounters various Loki variants.
They found out that Boastful Loki ratted them out in exchange for power and the Lokis face a fight against each other. As for Loki, Kid Loki, Classic Loki, and Alligator Loki, they escaped through a portal made by Classic Loki who also put projections of them in the fight. They took Loki to a view of Alioth where he saw USS Eldridge got devoured by the creature.
As for Sylvie, she arrived at The Void and when she woke up, the Alioth was already catching up on her. She accidentally connected to it and seeing what is beyond the creature. In her escape, she was aided by Mobius who is in a pizza car. They speed up and try to get away as far as possible and they end up meeting Loki and Kid Loki, Classic Loki, and Alligator Loki.
Back at the TVA, Renslayer grills Hunter B-15 asking her what she had seen when she was enchanted by Sylvie and what is Sylvie up to. Renslayer learns that all of the TVA agents are variants and Hunter B-15 deduces that Renslayer is not asking her for the protection of the TVA but to learn who is behind it. Hunter B-15 stressed that while Renslayer wants to know, Sylvie needs it and that Sylvie will always be one step ahead of Renslayer because of that.
At The Void, Mobius even asked if Alligator Loki is really a Loki variant and in a hilarious exchange with Classic Loki, the old guy claims that it's green and has horns. Sylvie plans to enchant Alioth and possibly uncover whoever is behind the gargantuan creature as she considers it as a guard dog.
When the time comes that they have to face Alioth, it was a Loki spectacle: from Kid Loki making some sort of a magical dagger that glows with fire to Classic Loki who was extremely good with his projections to Sylvie and Loki joining force to enchant Alioth, and to alligator Loki, well, being the alligator that he is – the end opens a door and sets a stage to the finale episode.
Mobius got the TemPad that Sylvie brought and it seems that he portaled somewhere, possibly the TVA. Alligator Loki and Kid Loki survive and as for Classic Loki, oh, he's just the hero that every Loki should look up to, he's so good in his projections, it even made Alioth believe it, even Thanos when he shared that he faked his death. He was devoured by Alioth when he caused a distraction grand enough for the creature, to help his own kind – his glorious purpose in the end.
Loki and Sylvie clasp their hands as they both try to enchant Alioth, one which they successfully did, and they opened a portal to what seems to be like a city behind.
Loki Episode 5 Post-Credits Scene
Surprisingly, there is none, which is strange as it didn't have any post-credits scene at all as what has been expected is that there would be one to tease the finale episode especially considering that there was one in the previous episode.

Just like the series of Marvel that came before it, Loki will be officially streaming through Disney+ and all the series the comes after it will also be there as well.

Loki Finale Episode 6 Countdown
The excitement is real and with what happened in the episode, it is safe to say that such is enough to encourage everyone to watch the finale and find out what lies ahead especially with Loki and Sylvie enchanting Alioth and opening some sort of portal or for to what seems to be a lair, and hopefully, whoever is hiding behind the gargantuan creature could shed light as to who is really behind the TVA.
