Just after Disney+ released their summer slate, they proudly released the titles they would be releasing this June 2021 where Marvel's Loki and Pixar's Luca banners the lineup being two of the most awaited releases on the streaming platform for this month.

In the promo released by Disney+, snippets of various titles are included for the month of June which they would be releasing throughout June and along with the said video, there is a complete list of the shows including when it would be released. Two highly-anticipated shows, the canon series of Loki, and the film Luca headline the video.

Loki is part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe which will focus on the adventures of everyone's favorite trickster where it would be revealed what happened to him after his escape in Avengers: Endgame. The God of Mischief will be dealing with the Time Variance Authority where his actions have been checked and he would have to pay for it.

As for Pixar's Luca, despite the controversy as regards the film's release on Disney+ without any extra surcharge for those subscribed on Disney+, it is still considered as one of the much-awaited films to be released by Pixar. It has been debated whether Luca is a queer coming of age film and many members of the LGBTQ+ are already in celebration of the film as early as its trailer's release. Fittingly enough, June is also Pride Month.

All the shows Disney+ would be releasing this June can be accessed for a subscription price of $7.99 a month, or $79.99 a year.

Loki will be released on June 9, 2021, while Luca will be out on June 18.
