Lobo Has Been Cast for Krypton Season 2

Krypton is one of the more interesting shows based on a DC property, focusing less on the big blue boy scout we know as Superman and more on his grandfather, along with the history of the planet. The series has also been having some fun adding more DC elements from the comics that would have never appeared in the original Krypton, like Adam Strange and Doomsday.

For the second season, DC is going to the 90's for some inspiration as Lobo is coming and has officially been cast. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Emmett J. Scanlan will play popular DC anti-hero Lobo, which is going to get a lot of interest from comic book fans.

Bringing in Lobo to Krypton is going to be very interesting since the character does have a lot of history with Superman. The two have fought with each other numerous times but they have also teamed up for the greater good. Lobo's status as an anti-hero has led to writers using him in a fairly unique way, recently being a part of the Justice League of America.

What's interesting about this is that Lobo is actually getting a feature-length movie, though it does not have a release date yet. DC and Warner Bros. want this to be R rated and have a similar tone to Deadpool, which could lead to a fun film. Hopefully, they don't have him break the fourth wall since the character isn't exactly known for that.

Krypton season 2 doesn't have a release date yet.
