It's pretty safe to say that The Mandalorian's Chapter 22 broke the internet in half and we can all credit Lizzo and Jack Black for it. Playing the eccentric power couple of Plazir-15, the Duchess and Captain Bombardier, the unlikely pairing gave viewers a dose of fun in what was an overall chill episode.
What's actually astonishing, however, is the fact that no one was able to spoil their appearances in the show which made their cameos even more jaw-dropping. You see, over the last couple of months, there have been several Season 3 leaks that circulated online — from behind-the-scenes footage to spoilery merchandise but somehow, Lucasfilm still managed to keep Lizzo and Black's involvement under wraps.

Well, turns out that wasn't always the case, and Lizzo's involvement in the show nearly got brought to light. Apparently, the folks over at Bespin Bulletin received intel weeks before Chapter 22's premiere that the pop singer will indeed play a role in the MandoVerse. Fortunately for fans, the outlet which has been home to several Star Wars insider scoops didn't bother making a report about it which admittedly, they are now regretting.

Now, you may be thinking, Lizzo and Black's Mandalorian cameo may not be a big deal but if you look deeper into it, the Duchess and Captain Bombardier could easily be major players ahead of the show's finale. With Moff Gideon's looming reemergence and his rumored ties to several Mandalorian warriors, Plazir-15 will be a formidable ally against him.
