Living with Yourself: Paul Rudd to Play Opposite Himself in Upcoming Netflix Show

The MCU may be keeping a lot of actors busy, but that doesn't mean they have no time to work on some side projects. Netflix has just shared that Paul Rudd is doing a new series for them, and it will have him acting opposite himself.

Netflix describes the show:

Paul Rudd will play dual roles in "Living With Yourself," a new series about a man struggling with his life who undergoes a novel treatment to become a better person, only to find he's been replaced by a new and improved version of himself

Showrunner for the series is Timothy Greenberg who is an alum of The Daily Show. Rudd is expected to star in the first season of Living with Yourself, but we don't know what the future has in store should the series get picked up for a second run.

The premise already sounds pretty much like Charlie McDowell's The One I Love, where a couple run into a bizzaro version of each other where both the ‘clones' are the ‘ideal' version of themselves. That film ended up kind of dark and ambiguous. I can't wait to see it play out with Rudd as the lead.

No release date has been set for Living with Yourself, but I think a 2019 release isn't farfetched.
