Mean Girls star Lindsay Lohan is reportedly in talks to join the MCU according to a recent report.
In the past few years, Lohan has been experiencing an acting career renaissance that started with the hit Netflix rom-com film Falling for Christmas. She recently made a cameo in the musical remake of Mean Girls.
Now, it looks like the actress is set to embark on a high-profile franchise as she might be joining a comic book universe soon.

Lindsay Lohan in Talks for MCU Superhero Role
According to a report from Us Weekly, Lohan is in talks to play a "vixen superhero" in the MCU.
They didn't provide details on which role or project is the actress in talks for. It is also unknown whether she will be starring in a live-action project or a voice role in an animated series.
So far, Marvel Studios has not commented on the report. The actress has previously expressed her interest in joining the franchise.
Since Lohan's return to acting, she has been attached to multiple projects including the upcoming Netflix rom-com Irish Wish. She is currently shooting another movie for the streamer.
She is set to reprise the role of Anna Coleman in the long-gestated sequel of Disney's Freaky Friday where she will reunite with Jamie Lee Curtis.
If the report ends up being true, the MCU role will be Lohan's most high-profile project to date as she will be part of the biggest franchise in Hollywood.
It is interesting to see which character she will play in the franchise whether it's a fan-favorite character from the comics or a more obscured one that Lohan could have an opportunity to get her fresh take on.
