Lily-Rose Depp’s surname surely rings a bell. She’s the daughter of the A-list actor Johnny Depp and the French singer-actress, Vanessa Paradis.

HBO has officially dropped the first look at its new TV series, The Idol. The preview is every inch bold with the orgies and several stimulating scenes it features.

According to Entertainment Weekly, the show is brought by the “sick and twisted minds” of Euphoria creator Sam Levinson and The Weeknd himself.

It’s set against the backdrop of the music industry, where Tesfaye will play the role of a self-help guru and a leader of the modern-day cult. He’s set to have a complicated relationship with the up-and-coming pop star played by Lily-Rose Depp.

The two’s love story is described as the “sleaziest in all of Hollywood.”

"When the multi-talented Abel 'the Weeknd' Tesfaye, Reza Fahim, and Sam Levinson brought us The Idol, it was clear their subversive, revelatory take on the cult of the music industry was unlike anything HBO had ever done before," HBO executive vice president of programming Francesca Orsi said in a statement.

Aside from The Weeknd and Lily-Rose Depp, The Idol also stars Troye Sivan, Steve Zissis, Melanie Liburd, Tunde Adebimpe, Elizabeth Berkley Lauren, Nico Hiraga, Anne Heche, Rachel Sennott, Hari Nef and Blackpink's Jennie.

However, HBO is yet to reveal The Idol’s official release date.
