After a brief hiatus, DC's Legends of Tomorrow teases its return on Tuesday with a new trailer for season five that shows the heroes ending up in entirely different adventures, parodying popular series such as Star Trek and Friends.
The CW has released the new extended trailer which features a fun TV show spoof. The "Star Trip" montage shows Sara as Captain Kirk and her girlfriend Ava, representing somewhat of a Spock character. While Zari and Astra seem to be sort of Klingon type aliens. The Waverider crew also embark on a sitcom type of adventure, parodying the popular Friends show.
While the trailer shows what to expect in the fun side of the show, it also highlights the biggest element of the season that the heroes ought to deal with, which is the quest for the Loom of Fate. It takes a lot of risk to save Astra Logue and they only have one shot, making it much harder for the Legends. You can check out the teaser above.
The Legends continue their mission in the fifth season to protect the timeline from temporal aberrations. The heroes ought to face their enemies from both the past and the present too. The new episode will show Sara, Constantine, and Charlie at British Columbia, but will encounter a problem they didn't expect.
Legends of Tomorrow Season 5 resumes on Tuesday on The CW.
