Lee Sung Kyung is among the female celebrities of her generation who could do both villain and protagonist roles.

The South Korean model and actress proved her versatility by delivering hit K-dramas one after another.

From playing an amateur athlete, to becoming a doctor to a celebrity agent, the 32-year-old beauty can perfectly slay every character.

Currently, Lee Sung Kyung is starring in the hit medical series Dr. Romantic 3, where she reprises her role as cardiothoracic surgeon Dr. Cha Eun Jae.

In the SBS weekend K-drama, she stars alongside Han Suk Kyu, who plays legendary doctor Kim Sa Bu, and Ahn Hyo Seop, as general surgeon Seo Woo Jin.

Apart from Dr. Romantic 3, the actress stars in a slew of amazing series. Here are five Lee Sung Kyung dramas that deserve a binge-watch if you can’t get enough of Dr. Romantic 3.

Flower of the Queen

It was in the 2015 series Flower of the Queen that Lee Sung Kyung landed her first ever lead role.

She played the role of Kang Yi Sol, who found herself in the middle of a complicated love story.

Her performance in Flower of the Queen earned Lee Sung Kyung Best New Actress at the 2015 MBC Drama Award.

Cheese in the Trap

From her first lead role, Lee Sung Kyung continues to headline a new series through the webtoon based K-drama Cheese in the Trap.

Joining Kim Go Eun, Park Hae Jin, she took the role Baek In Ha, who has a troubled relationship with her brother Baek In Ho, played by Seo Kang Joon.

Interestingly, this is also were Lee Sung Kyung and Nam Joo Hyuk first worked together before the iconic K-drama Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo.

Doctors

Lee Sung Kyung once again played the villain role in Doctors.

Debuting in 2016, she starred alongside Park Shin Hye, Kim Rae Won, and Yoon Kyun Sang.

She portrayed Jin Seo Woo, a neurosurgeon who grew up in a wealthy environment and harbors a friends-turned-enemies relationship with Yoo Hye Jung, portrayed by Park Shin Hye.

Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo

Lee Sung Kyung’s drama list will not be complete without Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo.

This is one of her most remarkable series since the rom-com K-drama took the world by storm. Viewers got hooked on Lee Sung Kyung’s chemistry with Nam Joo Hyuk as they played young lovers and, at the same time, campus athletes.

Interestingly, Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo was also inspired by the life of South Korean Olympic weightlifter and gold medalist Jang Mi Ran.

Shooting Stars

From athlete to doctor, Lee Sung Kyung transforms into PR specialist Oh Han Byeol  in Shooting Stars.

She teams up with Kim Dae Young, who played South Korea’s top star, Gong Tae Sung.

Unfortunately, unlike her previous series, Shooting Stars failed to rake double-digit ratings and ended the season with a 1.453 percent average naiotnwiode viewership.
