Dune Logo Leaks, Drives Internet Crazy Even After Deletion

Denis Villeneuve's Dune movie already has fans pretty excited since it's a remake of the sci-fi classic that won over hearts and minds all those years ago. While very little about the film has been released, a logo for the movie was shown during a French convention and it got the world wide web talking. Originally shared by Reddit and IGN, the photo has since been removed, though once things land on the internet, they stay there.

According to IGN, the logo is positioned above a sand dune, with a curved u-shaped icon that looks like it's pointing at four different directions, which gives us a stylish new logo. Reportedly. As I said, Warner Bros. has done their best to scrub this image from the internet, essentially proving that the logo is legitimate.

This is, admittedly, just a logo and fans can't really look that much into it (if they can even find it) but the fact that so many people are talking about it shows how much interest there is in this new iteration of the beloved franchise. It seems like the audiences of 2020 are ready for more Dune and we can't wait to see what Denis Villeneuve has in store for us.

Dune is scheduled for a December 18 release. It stars Timothée Chalamet, Rebecca Ferguson, Oscar Isaac, Stellan Skarsgård, Javier Bardem, Charlotte Rampling, Dave Bautista, David Dastmalchian, Zendaya, Jason Momoa, Stephen Henderson, and Josh Brolin.
