Law and Order SVU: Maddie Flynn Character Explained
The episode kicks off with a happy gathering for the detectives of Manhattan SVU. The characters attended the baptism of ADA Carisi's baby, Nicky.
After the reception, Captain Benson (played by Mariska Hargitay) drove home and noticed a teenager who didn't seem to be doing okay. The teenager was sitting in a delivery van while a man with a baseball cap drove.
Even though Benson had an urge that something was off, she didn't listen to her intuition. After all, her son was in the car and asked to go home.
Later in the day, Benson gets a call about a missing teenager named Maddie Flynn. When she saw the photo of Maddie, Benson immediately remembered that it was the girl in the delivery van.
Since Benson was able to spot the van, she took mental notes of what it looked like. The van had a lot of artwork since it was selling energy drinks. When Benson spotted Maddie on the passenger seat, she found it strange that a teenager would be in a delivery van.
For this, Benson couldn't help but blame herself for losing the girl.
Later, the detectives get a lead from a guy who believes he found Maddie. But as it turned out, it was a rag doll that looked a lot like Maddie.
They discover that there is a company that makes sex dolls based on photos of young girls posted online. So when one of the Maddie doll owners threw his doll away, the detectives were able to find him.

Who Plays Maddie Flynn in Law and Order SVU?
The actress who plays Maddie Flynn in Law and Order SVU IS Allison Elaine, an actress/playwright based in New York City.
Originally, Elaine grew up in Jacksonville, Florida, where she also attended Douglas Anderson School of the Arts. She also received her BFA in Acting from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania's Point Park University.
As for her descent, Elaine is Lithuanian and Irish.
