The Mandalorian Season 2 Latest TV Spot Shows Some New Footage

While the promos has been scarce for the past few months, Disney is now pushing harder with their marketing for The Mandalorian. While I'm sure there will be one more trailer that will come out before the premiere, a new teaser has been dropped offering some new footage.

Check it out:

It's not much, but we do get some new shots of Baby Yoda, and more of the Gamorrean fighting ring. There's also a shot of Mando firing blasters in what looks to be the ice cave he walks into in the previous trailer; people are still suggesting he's in the Jedi planet Illum, and there he'll discover remaining Imperials planting the foundations for Starkiller Base. It's not official yet, but it lines up with what we've seen from canon, and based on the first trailer, Mando will be looking for Jedi to take care of Baby Yoda.

With the series set to premiere by the end of the month, everyone thinks this teaser is a hint at another trailer drop—possibly within the week. This is all just speculation for now, but if Disney wants to build the hype, they should give us a bit more of the second season to look at. Personally, the first preview was kind of underwhelming. Heck, I'd be pleased with just a face reveal of Rosario Dawson's Ahsoka Tano.

For now, The Mandalorian Season 2 is set to make its premiere on Disney+ this coming Oct. 30.
