Latest Daredevil Season 3 Poster Sheds the Devil Away From Matt Murdock

Daredevil season 3 has everyone's attention, thanks to some stellar advertising from Marvel and Netflix. The trailers released thus far have been stellar, teasing events that have happened in the comic books and even revealing a certain fan-favorite villain. Add all of the intrigues with Wilson Fisk and the fallout from The Defenders, it's clear that there are a lot of things to look forward to this season.

We now have a new poster of the series that asks fans to "let the devil out," with an image of Daredevil's armor shedding away from his old season one look, which a lot of fans liked since it looked cool and paid tribute to Frank Miller's Man Without Fear series. The post-credit sequence of Iron Fist season two showed Daredevil in this costume, while also teasing that he will be abandoning his Matt Murdock identity completely.

Matt has been through a lot, losing Elektra at the end of season two, seeing her come back as an evil person with no rational motivations in The Defenders, and almost dying at the end of that show. Now that he's met his mother and is going to feud with Wilson Fisk once again, we can expect the drama in his life to increase instead of decrease.

Netflix has been amping up the status quos of its Marvel shows lately, with Luke Cage becoming a mob boss and Iron Fist losing his power, giving it to Colleen Wing. Having a much darker version of Matt Murdock is going to be interesting since the show itself was already pretty gritty, to begin with.

Daredevil season three debuts this Friday on October 19.
