Latest Bumblebee Poster is Simple, Yet Effective

The surprisingly decent-looking Bumblebee movie is coming out in December but Paramount Pictures is continuing to hype the film up with a new poster. It's a pretty simple one but it does show how different it will be compared to the Michael Bay Transformers movies, which is one huge positive. If anything, it shows that the film going for a more simple tone could be better for the franchise in general.

Looking like a classic 80's movie, the image simply has Bumblebee and Hailee Steinfeld's character looking at each other on top of a hill, while the stars shine in the sky. No explosions or combat poses here, as the film will clearly channel something like E.T. instead of the previous Transformers installments.

With Travis Knight at the helm, it's clear that this movie will be a huge departure from what came before. Knight directed the wonderful Kubo and the Two Strings, which was one of the best-animated films that year. Assuming this will be the best Transformers movie might be a bit much but it will definitely be better than The Last Knight and Age of Extinction.

Bumblebee will be coming to theaters on December 21. Let's hope this film makes the Transformers franchise better.
