Solo: A Star Wars Story is just around the corner, and Lucasfilm is releasing more clips showcasing the new characters that we'll be meeting in the film. Phoebe Waller-Bridge will be playing the droid L3-37, and thanks to The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, we have a great clip of L3 interacting with Han Solo.
The clip starts at 5:50:
It's worth noting L3 actually swears in this clip, telling Han to get his ‘presumptuous ass' out of her seat. The only other time someone has swore in the saga is during The Last Jedi when Poe Dameron said ‘ass' as well.
Looking at L3, it has been said that her relationship with Lando is not a classic master-servant relationship like we've seen throughout the saga. Lando actually treats L3 like his equal, and it's cool that she's a self-made droid who put random parts together to ‘improve' herself. It also explains why she can be so rude to Han.
With all the spotlight going to Han, Lando, Chewie, and Qi'Ra, it's nice to see some more of Phoebe Waller-Bridge as L3. K-2SO was one of the more beloved parts of Rogue One, and I imagine the same will go for L3.
Solo: A Star Wars Story comes out May 25.
