The trend of including a post credit scene started in MCU and DC films. Avid fans of the franchise would stay behind until the very last line of the credits for any hint of bonus content.

Some post credit scenes don't do much. One particular example is the famous post credit scene where the Avengers ate shawarma at the end of The Avengers (2012) movie.

But there are also some important post credit scenes that tease avid fans about the coming movies in the franchise.

In the case of the Kung Fu Panda film franchise, the producers of the film have not been consistent with this. The first film had bonus content while the others didn't.

So is there a Kung Fu Panda 4 post credit scene this time around? Unfortunately, it has been confirmed that the film does not have any post credits scene.

But the good news is that there is a bonus scene in Kung Fu Panda 4.

The bonus clip in Kung Fu Panda 4 doesn't require you to wait until the very last line of the credits section. The mid-credits scene that plays right after Kung Fu Panda 4's ending and before the credits start rolling.

In this scene, Zhen (voiced by Awkwafina) starts training as the new Dragon Warrior. Although she is guided by Po (played by Jack Black), the scene brings back the original Furious Five characters: Tigress, Monke, Viper, Crane, and Mantis.

This scene seems to tease that the original characters could be returning for Kung Fu Panda 5. Except for Jack Black singing Britney Spears' Baby One More Time, the other characters do not speak.

It's possible that the stars who play these characters will be recast, which explains their silence.

Despite the absence of a post credit scene, it still is a good idea to sit through as the credits roll for the names of everyone who worked hard in the film to be recognized by the viewers.
