Does Konoha Like Mamoru?
Yes, Konoha Akisato likes Mamoru Rokuta, but not romantically, at least for now. Konoha has a lot on her plate, and liking Mamoru romantically will bring more confusion to her already complicated life.
Konoha Akisato is a poor, lowly sub-illustrator working for Blue Bell, a 2-bit bishojo game company where no one dares to dream except for herself.
No one at work listens to what she says because their company could never make a full-priced game.
She can’t stop working at the company since she’s not an assertive girl who doesn’t fear the consequences of quitting a job.
In the near future, Konoha dreams of working on a full-priced bishojo game with her as the main artist.
She also plans to become a super popular artist who brings cute, cheerful heroines to life one after another.
One fateful day, Konoha suddenly travels back in time to 1992, where she encounters the programmer Mamoru Rokuta.
Her life soon began to change as Mamoru accepted her as the new illustrator for Alcohol Soft, all the while dealing with the cycle of time travel over and over again.
Does Mamoru Like Konoha?
It seems that Mamoru likes Konoha as well, but his pride and ego stop him from admitting it.
He has a very confident and arrogant personality, but Konoha often breaks into his real self, as shown in the first episodes of the anime.
Mamoru Rokuta is the son of the manager of Alcohol Soft.
He is the programmer of the group and believes that his programs are flawless, but his co-workers often force errors to come out of them, resulting in him cleaning up after them.
He also gets mad whenever his favorite 98 computer has wonky files and spits errors out of his flawless programs.
He is only 15 years old, but he wants to call it quits after finishing his last bishojo game at his father’s company, until Konoha appears to change his perspective.
Initially, Mamoru doesn’t understand what’s so great about bishojo games. He would rather work for a real game company than for a bishojo game company, where people who can’t make regular games work.

So, Do Konoha and Mamoru End Up Together?
Konoha and Mamoru are expected to end up together in 16-bit Sensation: Another Layer, despite the time difference that separates the two of them and complicates their budding romance.
At first, Mamoru believes that Konoha is just an otaku with anime on the brain. He even labeled her as a weirdo, whom he unfortunately encountered on the last day of the year.
He also called Konoha an odd one because of her extreme interest in bishojo games. Not to mention, he also didn’t believe Konoha’s claims about time travel or her extensive background in game illustration.
On the contrary, Konoha’s first impression of Mamoru is that of a scary kid. She may be older than Mamoru, but the latter is more of a slave driver.
Despite this, Mamoru and Konoha seem to get along. Konoha even thinks that Mamoru will become an amazing game programmer one day.
She also openly told Mamoru that she loves their game company, including its workers.
Together, the two of them completed their first bishojo game titled Sunny with a Chance of Vacation along with the other workers of Alchohol Soft.
