There are a few things that can truly come between a marriage like dishonesty, cheating, and Game of Thrones Season 8 spoilers. Luckily for Kit Harington, his wife Rose Leslie didn't actually leave him when he told her how the final season will end.
Harington was recently a guest on the UK radio station KISS FM's morning show where he admitted that he made the mistake of telling Leslie how the HBO series will end (via Entertainment Weekly). The spoilers were so devastating that the former Game of Thrones actress actually refused to speak to her husband for days although she had asked about it in the first place.
"I told my wife last year how it ended, and she wouldn't talk to me for about three days. And she'd asked!" he told hosts Tom Green and Daisy Maskell.
There's a good reason why Leslie was so affected by the spoilers. After all, she appeared on the show as Jon Snow's beloved Ygritte. The couple had actually met on the set of Game of Thrones and finally tied the knot last year.
Although Harington is not allowed to tell anyone else about the final season's conclusion, he is excited to see how people will react to the ending.3
"I can't really answer whether I'm happy or not. I don't think it's about happy or sad, really. I'm satisfied with what they did, but I don't know whether I'll be really satisfied until I see it," Harington said. "It's quite nice walking around, which will only happen for a few months before everyone's seen it, knowing. I know and no one else does. I know how it wraps up. I think it's gonna be groundbreaking."
What will happen in the final season? We will find out for sure in a few months.
