Kit Harington: Last Season of Game of Thrones was 'Designed to Break Us'

It's been a long road since 2011, but Game of Thrones is finally ending this coming April. Kit Harington will be front and center as the King of the North Jon Snow, and he talks a bit about the upcoming season and how tiring it was for everyone involved to shoot it.

Talking to GQ Australia, Harington talks about how ‘f*cking sick' he is when it comes to working on Game of Thrones 8. He says:

"The last season of Thrones seemed to be designed to break us. Everyone was broken at the end… I don't know if we were crying because we were sad it was ending or if we were crying because it was so f**king tiring."

It's worth noting that HBO decided to skip a season release for 2018 to keep up with production demands. Hopefully, this last season will be as great as everyone is hyping it up to be. Harington continues:

"We were sleep deprived. It was like it was designed to make you think, 'Right, I'm f**king sick of this,… I remember everyone walking around towards the end going, 'I've had enough now. I love this, it's been the best thing in my life, I'll miss it one day -- but I'm done.'"

With Game of Thrones finally getting out of the way, Harington says he's just looking forward to finally be able to go home and stay home. Ever since the beginning of the show, he says his been flying off away from his family, and counting that Harington just got married, he deserves to have some down time after all this work.

Though it's sad to see Game of Thrones end, it has admittedly been one hell of a thrill ride. Heck, a lot of characters don't even resemble who they were when we met them in the first season. Who knew that Jaime Lannister would end up being one of the more likable characters in the show?

Game of Thrones 8 comes out this April on HBO.
