King Charles will be crowned in less than two months. A royal expert warned His Majesty that his son, Prince Harry, is a bigger threat than his daughter-in-law Meghan Markle.

King Charles Warned About Prince Harry At The Coronation?

Nigel Cawthorne, a royal commentator and author of Prince Andrew, Maxwell and the Palace, weighed in on the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's attendance at the coronation. For him, Prince William's brother is a bigger threat.

Cawthorne told the Express about the Sussexes:

"Meghan has, thankfully, kept her mouth shut lately. It's Harry wanting an apology that poses more of a threat to the Coronation. But Charles knows he can't go around apologising to people - that's ridiculous. It's far beneath the King to do that."

Prince Harry and Markle had already received an official invitation to the coronation. However, they haven't confirmed their attendance at the event.

Cawthorne believed that if Prince Harry attended, he would bring his family along — his wife Meghan and their two kids, Archie and Lilibet.

Cawthorne said:

"I would have thought Meghan will come with Harry, as well as the prince and princess. [Harry might say] 'I'm turning my back on the monarchy, but my children are a prince and princess.'"

Last week, Prince Harry and Markle announced that their son Archie and daughter Lilibet had already received their official royal titles. The British royal family's website had been updated, calling the kids Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.

Prince Harry Will Draw Attention Away From King Charles?

Cawthorne added that if the Sussexes attends the event, they will pose a big threat to the smooth-running coronation. He is convinced that the Sussexes' presence or absence will get attention, and the King has no way to control or mitigate the situation.

Here's what Cawthorne said:

"He just has to sit there with a fancy hat on his head. He can't have guards with spikes pointing at Harry and Meghan! Simply by being there, Harry is going to draw attention away from Charles. And if he doesn't come, he's drawing attention away from Charles."

He added:

"Presumably, there will be pictures of him cycling around Los Angeles looking nonchalant. It's a lose lose situation for Charles."

Do you agree that it's a lose-lose situation for King Charles regardless if Prince Harry shows up or skips his coronation?
