King Charles is evicting Prince Harry and Meghan Markle from Frogmore Cottage. However, a royal expert claimed the move was due to the Duke of Sussex's attacks against his stepmother, Queen Camilla.

King Charles Hits Back At Prince Harry To Defend Queen Camilla

Arthur Edwards, a British photographer working for The Sun, weighed in on the Sussex's eviction from Frogmore Cottage. In a commentary published in The Sun, he shared his thoughts on why the King made such a bold move and in his opinion, it had something to do with what Prince Harry did to Queen Camilla.

Edwards wrote:

"FINALLY the King has hit back at Harry and Meghan over their vicious attacks on his darling wife and Prince William. They could criticise the King but to accuse Camilla of leaking stories — which nobody seems to believe is true — would not be forgiven."

He added:

"The King has responded by taking away their grace and favour home, Frogmore Cottage, which was given to them as a perk of their job."

Edwards added that the King's move was a response to what Prince Harry did against his family, especially to his stepmom.

"But actions have consequences. In any walk of life if you are not doing the job, you lose the perks. Harry and Meghan can’t have their cake and eat it."

British journalist and investigative reporter Tom Bower seemingly echoed the same sentiment. According to him, the Sussexes "provoked" the King.

Bower told Page Six:

"Harry and Meghan provoked him [King Charles] with Harry’s disgraceful book and the interviews he gave. I mean what did he expect?"

He added:

"Harry wanted the royal family to come on bended knee begging for forgiveness and he’s completely crossed the spectrum, he’s in the mad wilderness of deranged victimhood."

Will Meghan Markle And Prince Harry Attend King Charles' Coronation?

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex's attendance at King Charles' coronation is still unclear. However, according to Edwards, the King's decision to evict them from Frogmore Cottage might help them decide.

The Sussexes stayed in Frogmore Cottage during Prince Philip and Queen Elizabeth's funeral. They also stayed there when they returned to the United Kingdom for the Queen's Platinum Jubilee celebration in June.

Edwards wrote:

"We still don’t know if Harry and Meghan intend to attend the Coronation in two months’ time. But the loss of Frogmore could well be the thing that helps them make up their minds and decide whether or not to be there at Westminster Abbey in May."

King Charles wants to slim down the monarchy. Edwards agreed that Frogmore should be occupied by someone else but not the disgraced royal, Prince Andrew.
