The Twenty Five, Twenty One actress will be seen in a new film that will highlight a different side of her.
Alienoid, an upcoming Choi Dong Hoon-directed film, is a two-part sci-fi film.
It tells the story of a mysterious portal that suddenly appears and connects different timelines. The Taoists from the Goryeo dynasty searched for a legendary sword in 2022 while searching down an alien prisoner who entered a human body.
Kim Tae Ri finally made it to the final cast members, and she recently joined the press premiere, where she faced an unexpected incident.

Kim Tae Ri Almost Lost Expensive Diamond Ring
On July 15, Kim Tae Ri joined Kim Woo Bin, So Jisub, Jo Woo Jin, and Ryu Jun Yeol to mark the press premiere of Alienoid at Lotte Cinema World Tower in Seoul.
Everything happened smoothly until the actress’ ring flew off her finger when she entered the stage to greet the audience. The ring then went toward the opposite end of the stage, making her co-stars search for it, as well.

SBS News said that the patterns of the carpet and the lightning made it hard for them to find it right away. But in the end, So Jisub found the expensive ring and safely handed it back to Kim Tae Ri.
The actress’ fans said that the ring was from the American jewelry brand Tiffany & Co and costs around $6,800.
Kim Tae Ri Scores People’s Attention With Elementary Graduation Photo
Aside from the premiere, Kim Tae Ri also turned heads during her appearance on the July 20 episode of MBC FM4U's radio show Music Party.
Host Kim Shin Young presented her elementary school graduation photo, which has been under the spotlight since going viral online.
"Ah yes, I definitely do. The photo was taken when I was either the fifth or sixth grader. At that time, my homeroom teacher was like, 'Tae Ri, maybe you should get a haircut before we take your graduation photo. Your hair seems too long.' But since our family was poor, I told my homeroom teacher that I was going to just take the photo without cutting my hair. That's why I look so poor, because I was poor,” she recalled.
Although she did not like it before, she said that she does now as she wants everyone to see her past and where she came from.
Kim Tae Ri famously made her feature debut in 2016 through The Handmaiden.
