Kevin Feige Teases Surprising Black Widow Plot Details

The wait for Black Widow might be a little longer but we are now learning new things about the highly anticipated Marvel Cinematic Universe flick. Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige has just shared some interesting new plot details about Natasha Romanoff's standalone film.

Feige recently spoke to Total Film magazine where he confirmed that we'll get to see Black Widow's origin story (via Comicbook.com).

"She has such a rich backstory," Feige said. "We've hinted at it throughout all the other films. But we approach it in a completely unexpected way."

In addition to exploring Nat's past, fans will also find out what she was up to when she wasn't working with the Avengers.

"She's been up to a lot all along – in between when we see her in the other movies – some of which will be surprising to people," Feige promised.

We already know that Black Widow will take place right after Captain America: Civil War and will introduce characters from Nat's past. But what exactly will happen to her as she reconnects with old friends and fights new foes? The truth will be revealed later this year.

The synopsis for Black Widow reads as follows:

"Following the events of Captain America: Civil War, Natasha Romanoff finds herself alone and forced to confront a dangerous conspiracy with ties to her past. Pursued by a force that will stop at nothing to bring her down, Romanoff must deal with her history as a spy and the broken relationships left in her wake long before she became an Avenger."

Black Widow will bring back Scarlett Johansson and introduce Florence Pugh, David Harbour, and Rachel Weisz to the MCU. The film is now scheduled for release on November 6.
