There's no denying that Keanu Reeves has been long overdue for an appearance in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and even Marvel Studios boss Kevin Feige feels the same way. There have been persistent rumors that the studio has been courting Reeves to join the billion-dollar franchise, something that he only confirmed late last year.

According to Keanu, while he's on board with the idea of becoming a Marvel superhero (or supervillain), he says that they haven't found a project that would appeal to him. Now, the creator of BRZRKR confesses that he always wanted to play a beloved character on the big screen.

Appearing on Jimmy Kimmel Live, the star of John Wick and The Matrix was asked which Marvel character his 10-year-old self would love to play on the big screen and his revelation will surely delight fans. Keanu confessed that he wanted to be Ghost Rider, a character that has long been on the fans' wishlist for the Hollywood icon.

Reeves shared: "10-year-old Reeves would want to — I think he'd probably want to be Ghost Rider."

Of course, Keanu's age will be a concern to some but let's be honest, even though he's already approaching his 60s, he still looks and moves as if he's in his early 30s. Hopefully, Marvel Studios can finally lure the actor to join the MCU in the near future but as we wait for that to happen, Reeves is set to make his triumphant return to the DC Universe as John Constantine.

Key details about Constantine 2 are still being kept under wraps.
