Kevin Feige has 'Vague Ideas About Bringing in the Fantastic Four and X-Men to the MCU

Disney has finally won the bid to gain 20th Century Fox, but now we still have no news if the X-Men and Fantastic Four rights will be moving over to Marvel Studios. Apparently, Marvel head Kevin Feige is already thinking about integrating the characters, but he still has other things to worry about as of now.

Talking to Daily News (via ComicBookMovie), Feige had this to say about integrating the Marvel Fox characters:

"Not until we're given the word… I have vague dreams and vague ideas. But right now, bringing to life the 10,000-plus characters that Marvel fully controls is what the gameplan is."

For now, Feige is still working on the properties that Marvel Studios actually owns. He gives the rundown:

"My desire is to get Ant-Man and the Wasp in theaters and successful… Then complete filming on Captain Marvel this week and to get the next Spider-Man on camera, then to continue to work on Avengers 4 in the cutting room. I'm very busy for the foreseeable future."

Though it may be a while before we get the Marvel Fox characters in the MCU, it already seems like the seeds have been planted for the characters to make the introduction. Doctor Strange gave us the concept of a multiverse, which could very well introduce us to an alternate reality with mutants, and the old Avengers Tower was bought by a private investor—meaning that it could very well be turned into the Baxter Building i.e., the headquarters of the Fantastic Four.

We don't know when the FF and X-Men will join the ranks of the MCU, but everyone sure is excited to see them make that transition.
