Nope star Keke Palmer has become the subject of the MCU fan casting circle as she recently expressed her interest to join the franchise and potentially play the role of Rogue. While Marvel Studios has been keeping mum on its plans for the X-Men in the future, a lot of fans have been sharing suggestions on who they want to get cast and Palmer emerged as one of their favorites.
Just in time for the Halloween season when people are wearing costumes as their favorite characters or figures, Palmer took it as an opportunity to share a series of photos on social media of her dressing up as Rogue in her iconic suit.

The Emmy winner also shared a sizzle reel on Instagram where she is seen acting as the character with visual effects accompanying the action. She also thanked her fans for including her in their dream casting. "There’s nothing I won’t do for you guys! In your Marvel Universe, I’ll always be Rogue," she wrote.
The post has received a lot of positive responses from fans who are hoping that this series of photos will lead to her actually getting cast in the role once the MCU is ready to introduce Rogue.
A few weeks ago, Palmer addressed the fan-casting in an interview with ComicBook.com where she explicitly shared her interest in joining the MCU to play Rogue and waiting for Marvel to give her a call.
"That's confidential, sugar. No, I'm kidding. I don't know. I just know that the fans, the way that the fans have me booked, honey, online, I got to do a gig every week. So if we're adding Marvel to it, hey, let's do it. I'm ready for Rogue," she said.
Marvel Studios has yet to reveal their official plans on how they're going to bring the X-Men into the MCU although there are rumors that they might show up starting in Phase Seven. For now, all we can do is wait and speculate for any news on their highly-anticipated arrival.

For now, you can anticipate the premiere of the Marvel Studios-produced animated series X-Men '97 which is set to premiere on Disney+ in 2023.
