Here are some of our favorite Kdramas with K-Pop stars:
100 Days My Prince
D.O. (Doh Kyung-soo) of EXO stars as Crown Prince Lee Yul who loses his memory after a failed assassination attempt. He finds himself engaged to a peasant girl called Hong-shim (played by Nam Ji-hyun).
Another Miss Oh
Another Miss Oh follows the story of two women named Oh Hae-young who have long been involved in each other's lives. They eventually become involved with the same man, Park Do-kyung (played by Eric mun from Shinhwa).
One of the Oh Hae-youngs is also played by another K-Pop star, Seo Hyun-jin from M.I.L.K.
Business Proposal
Business Proposal is one of the most successful Kdramas that has four K-Pop stars. The show follows Shin Ha-ri (played by Kim Se-jeong) as she goes on a blind date with Kang Tae-moo (played by Ahn Hyo-seop), her boss.
Tae-moo gets tired of his grandfather forcing him to get married so he announces he plans to marry Ha-ri, without realizing she is his employee.
The K-Pop stars in Business Proposal include the following:

- Choi Byung-chan from Victon

D.P.
D.P. is a show that follows a team of military men who go after deserters. The show has a number of guest stars, including Jun of U-KISS, who stars as one of the army deserters.

Doona!
Doona! is a Kdrama adapted from a webtoon. The show follows a college student who becomes roommates with a former K-pop idol.
Bae Suzy from Miss A stars in this series alongside Yang Se-jong.
Hotel Del Luna
Hotel Del Luna is another show that makes it to this list. The show stars a couple of K-pop stars, IU (Lee Ji-eun) and Sulli from f(x).
IU stars in Hotel Del Luna as Jang Man-wol, the cursed manager of a hotel that caters only to ghosts. The only way to break the curse is if she changes her personality.
My First First Love
My First First Love follows a group of friends who decide to move into one house for various reasons. In the process, they must learn to live together as they pursue their dreams.
My First First Love stars several K-Pop idols, such as:
- Jung Chae-yeon from DIA and I.O.I.
- Jung Jin-young from B1A4
- Kang Tae-oh from 5urprise
Prison Playbook
Kim Je-hyeok (played by Park Hae-soo) is a baseball player about to go on his US major league debut. But before that happens, he is convicted of assault after protecting his sister from an attempted rape.
He is sent to prison, where he struggles to his new life. He gets to know his fellow inmates, who help him out.
f(x)'s Krystal Jung stars in the show as Je-hyeok's girlfriend, Kim Ji-ho.
Reply 1988
True to its name, Reply 1988 takes place in the 80s, which was when South Korea was struggling with its political and economic development.
The show follows the lives of five friends and their families. One of the lead characters in the show is Sung Deok-sun, played by Hyeri of Girl's Day.
Revolutionary Love
The Kdrama, Revolutionary Love, follows a chaebol who hides his identity to fight the corrupt practices in his family's business. The chaebol is Super Junior's Choi Si-won.
Rookie Historian Goo Hae-ryung
Rookie Historian Goo Hae-ryung is a period Kdrama set in 19th-century Korea. The show follows Goo Hae-ryung (played by Shin Se-kyung) as she sets the standard for women.
Instead of becoming a housewife, she defies traditional gender roles to become a palace historian. In the process, she catches the eye of Prince Yi Rim (played by Cha Eun-woo of Astro).
Run On
Run On is a romance Kdrama about a young female CEO who struggles with gender expectations. Her life changes when she meets an art student.
The three main characters are played by K-pop stars:
- Siwan from ZE:A
- Kang Tae-oh from 5urprise
- Sooyoung from Girls' Generation
Seoul Vibe
Seoul Vibe is an action-thriller film that follows a group of drivers and mechanics who go undercover to expose a money-laundering ring at the 1988 Seoul Olympics.
Mino appears in the film as Galchi, a supporting character. He is part of WINNER and MOBB.

Start-Up is a K-Drama about Seo Dal-mi (played by Bae Suzy from Miss A) as she aspires to become an entrepreneur like Steve Jobs.
The Fabulous
The Fabulous is a K-Drama that follows four friends as they embark on the fascinating world of fashion and their personal lives.
Lee Min-ho stars in the show as Ji Woo-min, a freelance photo editor.
Tomorrow
Tomorrow is a K-Drama that was adapted from a webtoon. The show follows Choi Jun-woong (played by Rowoon) as he goes into a coma and joins a team of grim reapers tasked to stop people from committing suicide.
Rowoon is from the group, SF9.

Under the Queen's Umbrella is a period drama that follows a queen who trains her son to be a prince to inherit the throne.
