Bo-Katan did a small cameo in the second season of The Mandalorian but in the latest season of the show, she has taken the lead and is gaining more attention from the fans as the series goes on.
Katee Sackhoff, who plays the character, recently sat down with Kristian Harloff for The Big Thing Podcast, in which she reacted to one of her viral moments in the third season and hilariously reflected on the mixed reaction she is getting as the female Mandalorian.
Harloff mentioned the scene where Bo-Katan sat on the throne with a distinct pose and asked the actress if she knew initially that moment would make an impact on the audience.
“No. I mean I knew that visually this is gonna be something people talk about because it’s just such a relaxed, disrespectful position to sit on a throne. And also it’s really uncomfortable looking so it's sort of like, my husband, “How long was she sitting there?” So in my mind, it was like “I think she ran to them as soon as she saw,” narrated Sackhoff.
If we’re to look at it, Bo-Katan lounging on her space throne is the defining moment of the fans’ thirst for the character or the actress herself. Sackhoff also addressed the naughty reaction she is getting from portraying the character.

“I don’t know, 70% are super, super excited about [Bo-Katan], you got ten percent like ‘I hated the whole thing,’ you got five percent ‘you just hate Bo,’ and then you got two percent that wants me to sit on their face,” remarked Sackhoff.
Despite being aware of the mixed reaction she is getting, Sackhoff acknowledges that she cannot please everyone and that her portrayal of Bo-Katan is subjective to whoever is watching her. Additionally, her husband is always there to comfort her.
“Art is subjective. Not everyone is always going to love what you do and we would be stupid if we thought that everybody would like us, like the work we do, like our talent, and like the stuff that we do. And you just… you gotta let it go.” she said.
It is still up in the air when Sackhoff’s Bo-Katan will return after The Mandalorian Season 3's happy ending. But given the love she is getting from the fans, most likely season 3 is not the last time we are going to see the best of her.
