Fans were incredibly thrilled when Bo-Katan Kryze finally made her live-action debut in The Mandalorian Season 2 and given her minimal involvement in the show, it was only natural for the fandom to clamor for more.
However, many weren't prepared for Season 3 to put most of the spotlight on the famed Mandalorian warrior. This resulted in the show garnering a polarizing reception from viewers and critics who felt like Din Djarin is being sidelined in his own series.
In an interview with The HoloFiles and Star Wars Holocron, Sackhoff pretty much confirmed that Season 3 is indeed the "Bo-Katan Season" but it was something she wasn't always aware of.
According to her, while she expected Bo-Katan to be given a more prominent role in the third season, she didn't know that the entirety of the show will be centered on her. Sackhoff explains: "I had no idea. They didn’t tell me anything until you know I got the scripts, and then I was like, ‘Whoa! Wait a second. This is different.’ I wasn’t prepared for that."
She continued: "I was prepared for Bo to maybe be in more of the episodes this season, because I was told she’d be in more. But I didn’t realize that it would be the Bo-Katan backstory season. I had no idea."

Season 3 ended with Bo-Katan finally fulfilling her destiny by bringing Mandalore back to its former glory. Meanwhile, Din and Grogu have been taken out of the picture temporarily to focus on their new adventures.
The third season's ending pretty much confirmed that the show will once again put Mando at the forefront and seeing as Season 3 received the reception it did, we can safely assume that the show's creatives will treat our titular hero a little better.
