Say what you will about The Mandalorian Season 3 but if there's one thing it proved, it's that Din Djarin and Bo-Katan Kryze share wonderful chemistry together. This is why it no longer comes as a surprise how fans have been shipping the two characters as soon as Season 3 began pairing them in various adventures.
While a possible romance between Pedro Pascal and Katee Sackhoff's characters has yet to materialize, there were a number of scenes in the show that seemed to tease the tension between the two Mandalorian warriors but nothing serious ever escalated.
Now, Sackhoff reveals that there were indeed plans for Mando and Bo-Katan to become an item. In an interview with Kristian Harloff, the actress confirmed that they nearly got it on until the show's creatives decided to go south.
She shared: "It was a conversation for sure,for sure a conversation, there’s a scene of Brendan actually grabbing bos face and kissing me in a off take. . .Could you imagine having sex in these?"

It surely would have been interesting to see Mando and Bo-Katan develop romantic feelings for each other, but I'm quite relieved that it didn't happen in Season 3.
Personally, it would have felt unnecessary given how Bo-Katan's main goal was to take back Mandalore, and squeezing in a romance plot somewhere in the series would have been a major distraction.
That's not to say though that I'm against the idea of them becoming a power couple in the MandoVerse but Season 3's central plot didn't need it. Who knows, maybe in the next season we'll actually see the ship sail.
