Kate Middleton Will Be the Star During King Charles’ Coronation? Meghan Markle’s Sister-In-Law Is Reportedly the ‘Most Successful and Powerful Royal Hire’

King Charles' coronation is also an important event for Kate Middleton. A royal commentator claimed that without Meghan Markle, all eyes would be on the Princess of Wales.

Kate Middleton Will Be Triumphant At King Charles' Coronation

Prince William and Kate Middleton only come second to King Charles and Queen Consort Camilla. However, the coronation will also reportedly be significant to the future queen.

Royal commentator Daniela Elser weighed in on how the King's historical event would affect his first daughter-in-law in an op-ed for NZ Herald:

"Come coronation day, sure, it might officially be Charles and Camilla’s big day, but really, it will be the Princess of Wales who looks set to really triumph. Her evolution, from being little more than an average university student with great legs to a formidable Queen-in-the-making will be all but complete."

Elser claimed that the "media oxygen is now largely hers and hers alone." She predicted that there would be tons of photos of King Charles with his crown.

There will also be discussions about Camilla sitting in the Gold State Carriage from being the most hated woman in the country. However, she's sure that "the person everyone will be watching is Kate."

She added that Middleton bears someone with the bluest of blue blood. Elser also admitted that she underestimated Prince William's wife and thought she was "about as useful as a gluten-free shortbread."

Elser wrote:

"However, I will happily put my hand up and admit: I was completely wrong. What has really become apparent over the last few years is that all the while the princess was popping out babies and keeping her knees out of sight, she would seem to have actually been keeping her head down and figuring out the rules of the royal game."

Kate Middleton Is The Best Royal Hire?

Middleton and Markle were often pitted against each other when the latter joined the firm. The former actress hit the ground running when she joined the monarchy.

Several royals fans claimed that Markle had accomplished more than Middleton during her short stay with the institution. However, many also argued that Prince Harry's wife lacked the longevity that Prince William's better half had mastered.

For Elser, Middleton was a better hire than Markle. In fact, the Princess of Wales was probably the best hire.

Elser wrote:

"Unlike the last commoner who married into the royal family, the tragic Elizabeth Woodville, whose sons got whisked off to the Tower, likely murdered by their uncle Richard III, Kate has ended up as the most successful and powerful royal 'hire,' possibly, in Buckingham Palace history."
