According to The Cut, Middleton used to call Prince William “Big Willy,” but she had already stopped using the nickname to refer to her husband. After all, she might not get away with it right now.
Even though Middleton has never been heard calling Prince William as such in public, Prince Harry alluded to the moniker during the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s royal wedding reception. According to attendees, the Duke of Sussex impersonated his sister-in-law’s high-pitched voice calling Prince William “Big Willy.”

Prince William And Kate Middleton Have Several Nicknames For Each Other
In the past, it has also been revealed that Prince William had a sweet nickname for his wife. He once called Middleton “babykins.”
According to Express, the future queen consort once called Prince William “baldy” in reference to the fact that the dad of three has been losing his hair throughout the past couple of years.
And in return, Prince William used to poke fun at Middleton by calling her “Duchess Do-Little” or DoD.
Of course, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have not escaped getting adorable nicknames from their parents. Prince George is sometimes referred to as PG Tips or Tips, while Princess Charlotte is called mignonette or Lotte.
Princess Diana Fondly Called Prince William Wombat
Prince William’s other nickname, Wombat, came to light when he was just a baby. At the time, Prince Charles and Princess Diana were on a tour of Australia, and they brought their eldest son with them.
Princess Diana was the one who came up with the nickname after seeing a wombat that resembled the chunky appearance of Prince William.
During his previous interview, Prince William admitted that he could no longer get rid of the nickname because it stuck with the other members of the royal family as well.
“I can’t get rid of it now. It began when I was two. I’ve been rightfully told because I can’t remember back that far, but when we went to Australia with our parents, and the wombat, you know, that’s the local animal, so I just basically got called that. Not because I look like a wombat, or maybe I do,” he said.
