There are rumors that Meghan Markle invited Kate Middleton to appear in her Archetypes podcast. However, a royal expert doesn't think it will happen.
Did Kate Middleton Reject Meghan Markle's Invitation To Appear On Archetypes?
A few weeks ago, there were speculations that Prince Harry's wife wanted to have their sister-in-law in her podcast on Spotify. Daily Express' royal correspondent Richard Palmer weighed in on the matter. For him, it's unlikely to happen.
"I don't think so," he said on Royal Round Up, Express reported. "I don't get the impression that there is much of a relationship there between them at the moment."
He added, "Maybe that will change, but I think the signs are the relations are still pretty strained."
It's unclear if Markle did reach out to Middleton for her podcast and if the Princess of Wales rejected her. But the royal expert said that seeing them together on Archetypes is unlikely to happen.
Prince William And Kate Middleton Have Sympathy For Prince Harry And Meghan Markle?
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and the Duke and Duchess of Sussex put on a united front during Queen Elizabeth's funeral in September. However, Prince Harry and Markle reportedly left England without fixing their relationship with the royal family.
Despite the alleged drama in the royal family, Palmer believed that the Prince and Princess of Wales are sympathetic to the Sussexes.
"I think William and Kate and other members of the Royal Family had quite a lot of sympathy with Harry and Meghan with some of their frustrations when they were working members of the Royal Family," Palmer added. "I don't think that it was a case that they were completely uncaring about their concerns. Not at all - far from it."

Although the royal family sympathized with the royals, who are based in California, the members of the firm didn't approve of Prince Harry and Markle's approach, according to Palmer.
"It was just they didn't agree with their approach, which was essentially to quit Britain, break the deal between the British people and members of the Royal Family in terms of what information shared about things like godchildren at a christening, and of course declare the war on the British media," he said.
How Did The Rumors About Kate Middleton's Guesting On Meghan Markle's Podcast Begin?
The rumors that Meghan Markle reached out to Kate Middleton for her podcast began after royal expert Neil Sean mentioned it on his YouTube channel. The royal correspondent claimed that Markle made a request to Middleton.
"While [Meghan] was over here, staying in Windsor at their [Frogmore] cottage, she put out a request to the Princess of Wales, according to that good source, to appear on a forthcoming episode of Archetypes," Sean said. "Apparently, she could have the whole episode to herself, how generous, and, as ever, we have to say allegedly."
At the time, Sean said Markle and her team at Spotify have "yet to hear back" from Middleton. However, the former Suits star "understands maybe Catherine could even fit it in when she returns over to the United States later this month for [the] Earthshot [Prize Awards]."
