Kate Middleton and Prince William just laughed off their youngest child's antics at the Platinum Jubilee. Several called out the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's parenting, especially Middleton, who was spotted with Prince Louis when the latter made a face at the Platinum Jubilee Pageant, and the royal couple subtly responded.

Kate Middleton And Prince William Subtly Respond After Prince Louis Went Viral At Platinum Jubilee

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and their three children — Prince George, 8, Princess Charlotte, 7, and Prince Louis, 4 — were front and center at the Queen's Platinum Jubilee. During the four days of festivities, the youngest Cambridge stole the show several times due to his adorable and hilarious antics.

After the Platinum Jubilee wrapped up, the future king and queen consort released a statement, and they seemingly responded to those who called them out and questioned their parenting.

"We all had an incredible time, especially Louis," they wrote with eyes emoji.

Prince William and Middleton shared photos from the event and expressed their joy and gratitude to those who celebrated the occasion with them. They also hoped that, just like them, the rest of those who joined the Platinum Jubilee had a fun weekend.

"What a fantastic weekend of celebrations. Seeing people across the nation coming together with family, friends and loved ones has been extremely special," the couple wrote.

"Thank you to everyone who turned out to show their gratitude to The Queen and her inspiring 70 years of leadership. From the crowds on the Mall to communities hosting street parties up and down the country, we hope you had a weekend to remember," they added in another tweet.

Why Kate Middleton And Prince William's Youngest Son Went Viral

Prince Louis entertained many spectators at the Platinum Jubilee celebration with his facial expressions and funny antics. He was seen covering his ears while on the balcony during Trooping the Colour.

The tot was also seen waving his hand enthusiastically during the carriage procession Thursday. He waved frantically that his older sister, Princess Charlotte, had to put his hand down. However, after a few seconds, he started waving again.

Prince Louis was also seen making faces, covering his face, holding a book, and even putting his hand on his mother Kate Middleton's mouth, who seemingly tried to contain him, during the pageant Sunday. The sight received mixed responses, with some questioning Middleton's parenting because they felt that she failed to control her son.

Some seemingly shaded the duchess, alleging that her son didn't listen to her because their nannies raised the kids.

"This is what happens when nannies raise your kids!" one commented on YouTube. Another added, "I’m sorry to see this for Louis’ sake. I hope he is OK. However, this is quite telling. Kate seems to be failing in all departments."

However, many also defended Middleton. According to other parents, they have a kid just like Prince Louis, and the little prince only acted like other children his age. One even said the sight was an indication that the Cambridge kids are free at home and do not live in fear.

"Kate, I stand in solidarity with you," columnist Kerri Sackville of the Sydney Morning Herald wrote, adding, "You know who doesn’t judge others for their parenting? Those of us who know how hard it is."

"You know what I see watching this? I see a kid that isn't afraid of getting a beating when he gets home, and I think it's wonderful. No child should live in fear of their parent's reactions behind closed doors," a Reddit user wrote.
