Kate Middleton 'Increasingly Irritated' With Queen Consort Camilla? King Charles' Wife Allegedly Showing Everyone She's the Boss but Prince William's Spouse Is Not Convinced

Kate Middleton and Queen Consort Camilla have been supportive wives to Prince William and the new British monarch, King Charles, respectively. However, an outlet claimed that there's a rift between the two.

Kate Middleton Allegedly Irritated With Queen Consort Camilla's Attitude

Prince William's wife and King Charles' spouse reportedly had a heated argument at Buckingham Palace, where the former revealed what she exactly felt about Camilla to her face.

"Ever since the Queen died, Camilla has been throwing her weight around showing everyone who's boss," a well-placed palace source told Radar Online.

"Kate is becoming increasingly irritated with her," added the source. "She thinks Camilla doesn't take her royal duties seriously and that she doesn't deserve the role. Things have been very awkward."

Camilla reportedly developed a new demeanor when her husband ascended the throne, and it rubbed Middleton the wrong way.

"She has this superior attitude where everyone has to bow down to her," a second anonymous tipster said.

"Kate has gone above and beyond the call of duty to adhere to all of the values required of working royals, but Camilla ultimately latched onto Charles' coattails."

The insider also claimed that the Duchess of Cambridge had an issue with her stepmother-in-law and has been "struggling to fall in line" now that she and King Charles are in charge.

"Yes, Camilla has been anointed and appointed by Charles and was blessed by Her Majesty prior to her passing," the second source added. However, King Charles' anointment allegedly "doesn't mean Kate has to like or respect her, especially given Camilla's history."

How's Kate Middleton And Queen Consort Camilla's Relationship Today?

One should take the report about the new Princess of Wales feuding with the new Queen Consort. As mentioned, both are supportive wives to the new king and heir to the throne.

Earlier this month, Middleton and Camilla put on a united front with Prince William and King Charles as they posed for their first official photo together after the Queen's death. The snap, which many dubbed as the "new fab four," was taken at Buckingham Palace during the reception for world leaders on the eve of Queen Elizabeth's funeral.

The four senior royals were all smiles in the picture. British journalist and Prince Harry's biographer, Angela Levin, also said that the Prince and Princess of Wales have a great relationship with King Charles' wife.

"With Prince William, it's absolutely good. With Catherine, it's very good. She often goes out with Camilla and King Charles to see art exhibitions. William's not so keen on that, but [Kate] goes. They're very warm," Levin told host Erin Molan of Camilla's relationship with the Waleses. "There's a marvelous picture in the papers today of the four of them standing together, smiling, looking very relaxed. [It has a] 'we're working together' sort of feeling."

The author of Camilla: From Outcast to Queen Consort clarified that unlike Prince Harry's relationship with his stepmother, Camilla enjoyed a better relationship with Prince William and Middleton.
