Karl Urban Confirms The Boys Season 4 Production Wrap With First Look at Jeffrey Dean Morgan's Character

That's a wrap for The Boys Season 4. Karl Urban confirmed he is done working on the show's fourth season and shared our first look at Jeffrey Dean Morgan's mystery character as a treat for fans.

Karl Urban took to his official Instagram account to confirm the production wrap. "Massive Thank you to our phenomenal crew & cast," he wrote in the caption. "Love you guys!"

Urban also joked that he isn't allowed to share any photos from the set of The Boys Season 4. Instead, he posted a picture of himself with Jeffrey Dean Morgan "on the set of a Cadillac commercial." Check it out below.

This is the first time we're seeing Jeffrey Dean Morgan's mysterious character and we still don't have any information about him. However, it looks like he could be a major player in the fourth season.

The Boys Season 4 is also expected to bring back Morgan's Supernatural co-star Jensen Ackles. Ackles debuted as Soldier Boy in the third season and is set to show up again in the upcoming season.

Jeffrey Dean Morgan isn't the only new character showing up in The Boys Season 4. Orange Is The New Black star Susan Heyward and Valorie Curry from The Tick have been cast as Vought recruits Sister Sage and Firecracker, respectively.

The upcoming season will also see Cameron Crovetti upgraded to series regular. The young actor playing Homelander's son Ryan is set to have a larger role now that the character has decided to reconnect with his father and embrace his superpowers.

The Boys Season 4 will also bring back Jack Quaid as Hughie, Erin Moriarty as Starlight, Jessie T. Usher as A-Train, Laz Alonso as M.M., Chace Crawford as The Deep, Tomer Capone as Frenchie, and Karen Fukuhara as Kimiko Miyashiro. The fourth season has not yet been given an official release date but is expected to premiere later this year.
