Kanye West recently name-dropped Pete Davidson in one of his songs. But the Saturday Night Live star remains unfazed.
According to Page Six, Pete Davidson thought that it’s hilarious for West to mention his name in one of his newest tracks. After all, this shows that the rapper is still bitter over the fact that Davidson is now dating his ex-wife, Kim Kardashian.

A source claimed that Davidson is also enjoying all the attention that he’s been receiving for being Kardashian’s boyfriend. And West mentioning him in his songs might have just made the comedian even more popular.
“Pete thinks it’s totally hilarious. Not just that — he thinks the whole [tabloid drama with him, West, and Kardashian] is hilarious. He loves it. It’s funny to him that the press wants to know his every move all of a sudden,” a source said.
And unfortunately for West, his recent diss reportedly brought Davidson and Kardashian closer to each other.

Other than his songs, West has also been mentioning Davidson’s name during his interviews. Most recently, the rapper revealed that his ex-wife prevented him from visiting his children at home because Davidson was there.
“Pete has yet to be introduced to Kim’s kids, and it’s widely known that whenever he visits her in LA, he stays at a hotel in Beverly Hills where she’s been spotted with him,” a second source said.
And in yet another shocking revelation, West claimed that Kardashian prevented him from attending Chicago’s birthday. But the publication’s source clarified that the exes agreed to have separate parties for their daughter.

But according to Radar Online, even though Davidson remained unfazed by West’s recent song diss, the comedian still made it a point to hire more security just in case things get nasty between him and his girlfriend’s ex-husband.
“Until recently Pete never had security with him when he was out and about, even when he was engaged to Ariana Grande. But dating Kim is a totally different level of fame. Pete is now a superstar, which comes with a price. As much as he still wants to be low-key and hang with his friends, the reality of his situation has changed. Pete isn’t taking any chances. Whenever he is out with Kim, they use her security. But now Pete needs his own security when he is out alone. He is still Pete, but now Pete comes with a 6’1, 220 lbs. security guard,” a source said.

Pete Davidson, Kim Kardashian Closer Than Ever
Davidson and Kardashian started dating late last year. They were first seen together on Saturday Night Live, where they also shared a kiss. Since then, the couple has been inseparable.
A source told Us Weekly that Davidson and Kardashian’s relationship is just so easy even amid all the drama involving West.
“They laugh and feel comfortable during this rough time. It’s not impacting their relationship at all. If anything, this drama is bringing Kim and Pete closer together because he makes things so easy,” the source said.
The source also said that Kardashian is not thrilled will all the fuss West has been causing in recent weeks.
“Kim was shocked to learn that he released a video about not being invited to her party — that’s not true and as soon as he asked to come he was given the location. They always [had] two parties planned. Kanye has caused a lot of drama lately with the family [and] they’re not happy with what’s transpired over the last few days,” a source said.
At the end of the day, Kardashian and West’s ongoing drama proves why their marriage couldn’t have lasted forever. But the upside to their divorce has to do with Kardashian crossing paths with Davidson.
