Instead of Toei Animation, E&H Production, which was established by director Sunghoo Park, is in charge of the anime production of Monsters 103. The anime will be broadcast on Netflix.

Mitsuri Kanroji’s VA Kana Hanazawa Joins Monsters 103 Cast
In addition to her voice acting career, Kana Hanazawa is also an actress, singer, and former child actress under Office Osawa.
She is a renowned voice actress, with many leading roles in TV anime and other anime-related content in Japan.
At the age of 8, Kana starred in the TV school show Appare Sanma Daisensei as well as the TV series Gakko no Sensei.
Then, she played Kaminagi Ryouko in TV Tokyo’s mecha anime series, Zegapain. This acting gig boosted her popularity among fans, and she has since become a household name.

Who Is Flare in Monsters 103?
In the lore of Monsters 103, Flare is the waitress working at a restaurant called Gérard, where the legendary samurai Ryuma stumbled upon in search of something to eat.
Flare is a very kind and sweet girl. She fed the starving Ryuma for free; no questions asked. Ryuma then considered Flare his master to repay the debt he owed her.
Later, Flare’s character was revealed to have a history with the town’s beloved master swordsman, Shirano.
Flare admires Shirano the most, not only because of his kindness but also because of his incredible achievements.
However, not all heroic tales are true, and Flare would have to learn more about the world and the real bad guys in it.
