Second seasons of anime are usually announced after the first season has ended, but that’s not the case with this ongoing show. Despite only premiering earlier this month, the KamiErabi God.app anime was confirmed to be getting Season 2 in 2024.
The show’s second season was revealed during the weekend. As the first season is still ongoing, the announcement did not come with a trailer or a new visual.
Along with its continuation, the show’s first season also got an official episode count. As expected, the anime’s first season will have a 1-cour length.
KamiErabi God.app Season 1 Confirms Episode Count
Most of Fall 23’s big titles like Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End and The Eminence in Shadow Season 2 are based on popular manga or light novels.
That is not the case with KamiErabi God.app which is an original show by the new studio Unend.
Even though it’s an original series, it does feature some well-known staff members.
To start, the series was created by Yoko Taro, the renowned creator of Nier: Automata and the Drakengard series.
Directing the anime is Hiroyuki Seshita of Knights of Sidonia fame. Also part of the cast is Atsushi Ohkubo, the creator of the Fire Force and Soul Eater manga.
The anime is now three episodes into its run, and viewers can expect 10 more episodes, as the show’s first season is confirmed to be 13 episodes long.
As it’s a collaboration between Yoko Taro and Atsushi Ohkubo, the series piqued the interest of fans ahead of its premiere.
Because of its unusual 3D animated style though, it’s not exactly the most popular show of the season as it has been overshadowed by other big titles of Fall 23.

KamiErabi God.app Season 2 Already Confirmed Just Three Weeks Into Season 1
It may seem like the show isn’t a big hit, but it seems to have done well enough to be renewed. Recently, KamiErabi God.app was confirmed to get a second season.
This is a surprise given that even the most successful shows get Season 2 announcements after the first season already ended.
Because of the announcement, the show’s producers likely see a lot of potential in the series even though it hasn’t gotten that much attention.
Aside from the announcement, there’s not a lot of info about the new season yet. What is confirmed is that KamiErabi God.app Season 2 will be released sometime in 2024.
