Following its recent announcement, the Kaguya-sama: Love is War anime movie will get a TV broadcast after an initial theatrical release.
Yesterday, the official Love is War Twitter released a teaser for a big announcement for July 12 at 12 AM JST. The announcement turned out to be the film’s upcoming TV broadcast.
Specifically, the Tweet confirmed that the Kaguya-sama: Love is War movie will adapt the “The First Kiss Never Ends” arc from the manga. The movie’s full title is Kaguya-sama: Love is War - The First Kiss Never Ends.
The wording of the announcement is a bit vague as it did not confirm more details aside from the fact that a TV broadcast is planned after the initial Love is War anime movie releases in cinemas.
There was no information on if the movie will get a wide cinema release in Japan nor was there word on which network it will broadcast on.
What we do know is that the upcoming Love is War movie is a follow-up to the recently concluded third season.
A feature-length movie adaptation of the “The First Kiss Never Ends” arc also makes sense as it is a fairly short arc, meaning a 12-episode season might be too long to cover it.
