Justice League Unlimited’s Wonder Woman Wants a 2021 Reunion

While Batman: The Animated Series gets a lot of praise, a lot of people also put high regard to the animated Justice League Unlimited. There have been calls for a reunion for a while, but Wonder Woman voice actress Susan Eisenberg wants a return by 2021.

She posted this up on her Twitter:

While some thought this was an announcement of an official reunion, Eisenberg goes on to clarify:

While the original Justice League was a fine show on its own, the show had reached a whole new level when they made Justice League Unlimited. Besides the main roster of heroes like Batman, Wonder Woman, and Superman, we had also gotten a lot of B-heroes from the comics including the likes of Blue Beetle, Captain Marvel, and Booster Gold. They even managed to bring in characters from the spinoffs like Static from Static Shock and Batman Beyond's Terry McGinnis.

Though WB is finding a hard time getting Justice League right for live-action, JLU had managed to give us a definitive version of the characters that were solid and iconic in their own way. I personally considered Wally West to be my definitive version of the Flash before I realized Barry Allen was the ‘main' iteration; Jon Stewart's Green Lantern was also the OG Lantern for many kids before Hal Jordan came out in film.

We don't have an official announcement for a Justice League reunion yet, but hopefully we get some update soon after the COVID-19 pandemic starts to die down.
