Justice League Snyder Cut Won't Involve Reshoots With Original Cast Members

People might be celebrating after it was confirmed that Zack Snyder's version of Justice League will be released on HBO Max but will it also feature new footage that the filmmaker wasn't able to shoot? Sadly, fans should not expect to see any major reshoots with the movie's original cast in the Snyder Cut.

It has already been confirmed that Snyder is currently working on his own version of Justice League but The Wrap reveals that HBO Max will not allow the Man of Steel director to shoot new footage anytime soon.

"There's not going to be any reshoots of any kind with any actors. It's just additional dialogue. Here's something that hasn't been reported yet: (Snyder) did want to shoot and he wanted to do additional photography, but HBO Max said, ‘No, that's not happening. We'll give you money for post-production, for special effects, for scoring, and even ADR but no reshoots of any kind on this movie,'" the report reads.

This is disappointing to hear considering that Snyder was not able to film some key scenes for Justice League in the past. Unfortunately, the director might have to work with what he already has shot before he decided to leave the project. Let's just hope that this should be enough for Snyder to bring his vision to life.

The Justice League Snyder Cut is expected to air on HBO Max by 2021.
