Jurassic World Fans React To Jurassic Park Original Three’s Return

Earlier today, Jurassic Park fans got word from Jurassic World 3 director Colin Trevorrow that Sam Neil, Jeff Goldblum, and Laura Dern would all be returning to the franchise for the third and final entry in the Jurassic World franchise.

Sure, Goldblum might have already appeared in Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, but this is going to be the first time that we see the actor reuniting with Neil and Dern for another Jurassic World movie. Taking to social media, fans couldn't help celebrate the return of the original three.

There might be very little details surrounding Jurassic World 3, however, fans are hoping that Dern, Neil, and Goldblum will all be given ample screen time. Glorified cameos just won't cut it, really.

In the original Jurassic Park, Neill plays Dr. Alan Grant, Dern stars as Dr. Ellie Sattler, and Goldblum is Dr. Ian Malcolm. While Goldblum remains as a doctor consultant in Jurassic World, we've yet to learn what's become of Sattler and Grant. Have they continued their career in the sciences? Or did life lead them down a different path? Seeing how the Jurassic World franchise takes place years after the events of the original trilogy, we can imagine a whole realm of possibilities for the Sattler and Grant.

Now that Trevorrow's short film Battle at Big Rock has finally released the director can begin work on Jurassic World 3. The film is expected to shoot at Pinewood Studios in Buckinghamshire in England.

Jurassic World 3 premieres on June 11, 2021.
